Acer unveils at CES 2016 in Las Vegas the latest version of its tablet Android statement. Acer Iconia One 8 (B1-850) is an 8-inch quad-core processor, two cameras, microSD expansion slot and a specific mode of parental control for children. It will be on sale with white or blue chassis from January at a recommended price of 129 Euros.
Acer Iconia One 8 replaces the Intel Bay Trail of the previous generation (B1-820) with MediaTek MT8163 CPU, Quad Core 1.3 GHz here combined with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of eMMC. IPS display has 1280 x 800 pixels, rooms from 2:05 megapixels, WiFi N and Bluetooth 4.0, a battery of 4600 mAh and a frame from 340 grams and 9 mm. Acer is about nine hours of battery life.
The tablet uses Android 5.1 and adds some features Lollipop software standards Google. EZ WakeUp serves to awaken the tablet with a double tap; EZ Snap is a screen capture with a 3-finger gesture; Acer Kids Center starts a simplified interface for children with special pre-selected content, functions to control the game time and more.
