Acer R1, H7 and XR



Acer has introduced under the CES, being held these days in the city of Las Vegas, three new monitors baptized as H7, R1 and XR342CK. All three feature a stylish design, specially intended for the consumer market. Of course, each has a characteristic that clearly distinguishes it from others. While the new R1 Acer claims to be the world’s slimmest monitor, the Acer H7 differs from its peers by having a USB Type-C port. Meanwhile, the Acer XR342CK is especially focused on most gamers, who always need a specific monitor to get the most out of your gaming experience.

Acer is working to launch monitors that can compete with its rivals. One of those who has shown at CES this year is called R1 Acer, whose main characteristic is to have a very small thickness of just 7 mm. His stylized frames also will delight all those users who want above all simplicity. This monitor will be available throughout this month in sizes of 21.5 inches; 23 inches; 23.8 inches; 25 inches and 27 inches at a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels (FullHD). The price of 140 euros for the 21.5 inch size.

Another of the models that the company has used to announce at CES, Acer H7, has the particularity of having a USB Type-C port. This connector, together with the USB 3.1 standard, will provide higher data transfer rates, which is always interesting to consider the future. On the other hand, the Acer H7 LCD panel equipped with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels (WQHD). It is offered in two versions, 25 and 27 inches. Noteworthy that can withstand 100% range comprising sRGB colors. The H7 and additionally has the popular HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort ports. In terms of availability, it may be acquired next February at a starting price of 500 euros.

Finally, the company has also introduced the new monitor XR342CK, especially dedicated to most gamers. Curved design offers a 34-inch screen and a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels (WQHD), very suitable for getting the most out of your gaming experience. The user can view in detail each of the moves that appear during leisure time. In turn, this monitor also features AMD technology FreeSync, ending the game with a fluid fragmented performance, free of artifacts, any frame rate. On the other hand, to ensure maximum realism when playing, Acer has also added to XR342CK DTS high fidelity sound. All interested parties may take with him from next March at a price of 1,099 euros.
