Acer has announced the release of the X1 projector range. A compose it are the X115 models, X115H, X125 and X135WH. All products use DLP technology with a single chip. The resolution is SVGA (800 x 600 pixels) for X115 and X115H, XGA (1024 x 768 pixels) for X125 and WXGA (1280 x 800 pixels) for X135WH. Full specifications of the individual models are not yet available. Are nevertheless notes the salient features. The projectors offer a brightness up to 3,400 ANSI lumens. The contrast ratio is optimized by Acer DynamicBlack proprietary technology, capable of analyzing the frames of images to dynamically adjust the lamp power.
There is also a six-segment color wheel, the ColorBoost3D technologies and ColorSafe II (the first work on 3D content, the second of 2D ones) and support for 3D sources. In low-power mode (EcoProjection) X1 projectors can consume up to 70% less. The lamp life reaches 10,000 hours in ExtremeEco mode. Acer also declares a low noise.
