Let’s talk about Aiptek Amovar M1 and S1, two Mini PCs looking very different but with many of the common technical specifications. And we start right from the platform: Amovar M1 and S1 have a hexa-core Exynos SoC, and the only one known until now is the Samsung Exyns hexa 5260, with 2GB of memory and 16GB of expandable storage with a card slot microSD up to 64GB. Both run on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system and features an HDMI, a USB and a microUSB addition to the usual modules Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi 802.11n.
They are special devices, because they possess the same iBeamBlock functionality but are not modular. The Aiptek Amovar, in fact, incorporate a 5-inch HD display (1280 x 720 pixels) touch on the cover, a battery, a pico-projector and stereo speakers. And these are the characteristics that distinguish them: Aiptek Amovar M1, which is smaller and more compact (200 x 130 x 35 mm), has a DLP projector 400 lumens of brightness and images up to 40 “(30000 hours of life) , a battery 12000 mAh for 2 hours of projection and two stereo speakers Hi-Fi, 5W, while Aiptek Amovar S1 that has the shape of a parallelepiped block (155 x 155 x 220 mm), instead integrates a DLP projector from 800 lumens brighter and 40 “images, from 36000 mAh battery for up to 4 hours in the projection and more powerful speakers for a total of 40W, arranged on the four sides for a 360-degree audio.

At the moment, we know neither the price nor the availability on the market, but we will know more at IFA 2016
