ASUS Strix RX 480

ASUS announces the new graphics card Strix RX 480: ready to support virtual reality devices, is characterized by excellent performance, an advanced cooling system and an aesthetics totally customizable. Equipped with the latest AMD Radeon RX 480 GPU clock frequency to 1330 MHz and 1310 MHz in OC mode in gaming mode (default), the new ASUS ROG Strix RX 480 card delivers up to 15% faster in 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme and up to 19% playing with Hitman and Doom than standard sheets of the same model.

The new card adopts ASUS DirectCU III technology, with heatpipes in direct contact with the GPU and integrates three fans 0dB with a new patented design, which greatly increases the static pressure on the heat sink and provides better cooling in the field of gaming as well as a triple noise compared to the reference product. Because during the game GPU temperature is often higher than that of the CPU, to increase cooling performance, the new ASUS graphics card adopts FanConnect technology, which has two connectors to 4-pin controlled by the GPU, which you can connect additional fans to provide optimized cooling.

All ASUS graphics cards are made by Auto-Extreme technology, the first fully automated production process, which uses higher quality materials ensuring a new quality standard. The Auto-Extreme technology improves the levels of performance and durability of the graphics card. This new process is also environmentally friendly by eliminating harsh chemicals and a reduction in energy consumption of 50%.

The use of Super Alloy Power II components improves efficiency, reduces the power losses and the classic “buzz” at full load electric, increases heat dissipation by about 50% compared to previous solutions, and ensures a level of quality and unmatched reliability.

ASUS ROG Strix RX 480 includes the exclusive ASUS Aura RGB lighting technology that can display millions of color combinations and six different effects, guaranteeing a station fully customizable game. The presence of two HDMI ports allows players to directly connect the device to a virtual reality system without having to replace the wires, giving them immersive virtual reality experiences.

Thanks to particularly intuitive user interface, the utility GPU Tweak II makes the game and the overclocking even easier, while maintaining advanced options for experienced users. With one click, the new Gaming booster function maximizes system performance by eliminating redundant processes and automatically allocating all available resources.

The Premium license XSplit Gamecaster, included for one year (worth $ 99) lets you record and share via the Internet and in real-time on-screen action, so that others can watch live playing the games. You can also monitor many system parameters with ease during the game as the clock speed of the CPU, the temperature and the VRM use: in this way, the performance settings can be changed with a simple click on the button GPU Tweak .
