A few days away from the new variant with a Snapdragon 821 ZenFone 3 Deluxe, it still widens the ZenFone family 3 of ASUS. In the past few hours, during a special event in Vietnam, the Taiwanese manufacturer has also introduced ZenFone 3 Laser and ZenFone 3 Max.
The first is obviously the successor of the ZenFone 2 Laser last year, and is characterized by a laser autofocus system of the second generation able to focus in just 0.03 secs. The associated imaging sensor is the Sony Exmor IMX214, rather old now and with electronic image stabilization. For the rest we have an aluminum body with 2.5D curved glass and a 5.5-inch display. The rest of the notes specific includes 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, maximum thickness of 7.9 mm and fingerprint scanner. The price, in Vietnam, equivalent to about 241 Euros.
ZenFone 3 Max is instead characterized by a very large battery, although well below that of last year – is increased from 5000 to 4100 mAh. For the rest, we have a 5.2 inch display, again metal body with 2.5D curved glass front, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage and fingerprint scanner. The cost in Vietnam, in this case, is the equivalent of 181 EUR.
For the moment, ASUS did not share more information, and spoke only of the Vietnamese market.
