Biostar is a brand that we know especially for motherboards, but now is back for a new mini-PC that the Taiwanese company has marketed under the Racing brand. Racing P1 is a compact settle in NUC style, but despite the name is not a high-end product, rather it go to place in the already wide range of mini-PC with Intel hardware that come from the Asian market.
The hardware configuration includes a Quad-Core Atom x5-Z8350, coupled with 4GB of DDR3L RAM and 64GB eMMC storage, expandable via microSD. The I / O section is not bad and has 5 USB 2.0, USB 3.0, Gigabit LAN, HDMI and audio jack, while on the side AC and WiFi connectivity is Bluetooth 4.0.
The PC is compatible with Windows 10 and there are proprietary features as GT Racing Utility, BullGuard and BIO-Remote2. From a purely “physical” side instead, the chassis measures 129.4 (L) x 83 (W) x 27mm (H), weighs 255 grams and supports VESA 75/100 attacks.
At momeno not know if Biostar propose other variants, this costs $ 159 just presented.
