Next week, Google held an event where will present the new devices. The latest rumors reveal the existence of (at least) two new smartphones, a media streamer 4K, a hub for smart home and perhaps also the first release of the next Andromeda OS operating system, which combines the features of Android and Chrome OS . But there is no need to wait for October 4 to take a first look at some of these products: Evan Blass (via VentureBeat) released a preview of the Google Pixel smartphone images and Chromecasts 4K Ultra, enabling us to give us a ‘ idea on how will these devices.
Google PixelGoogle Pixel looks very similar to render shot online in recent weeks: the image confirms that the phone will have a new launcher with a search bar “slider” at the top left and not the fixed one that occupies the top of the screen. System icons are circular and the applications menu will be accessible with a Swype from the bottom up, and not with classic dedicated key. The Home button has been redesigned and identified in two concentric circles, with the full interior. To be honest recalls the symbol of Cortana.
This smartphone should integrate a 5-inch Full HD display (1920 x 1080 pixels), Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB of RAM, two 12 megapixel cameras (rear) and 8 megapixel (front), 2770 mAh battery and a fingerprint reader digital on the back. It also provided a larger version, Pixels XL, with a similar design but with 5.5-inch high-resolution display and bigger battery. The two Pixel and Pixel XL terminals will be purchased in USA in “unlocked” or marked Verizon.
The other novelty is called Chromecasts 4K Ultra and is, in effect, the media streamer Chromecasts second generation. The appearance remains roughly similar, with the typical round shape of the frame and logo ( “G” this time) imprinted on the front, but the surprises will be inside because this device can support 4K video and not just Full HD (1080p). But the extra features will be priced: the new 4K Ultra Chromecasts should cost $ 69, almost double the Chromecasts sold at $ 35.
