Chuwi is developing a new tablet with 12-inch (2160 x 1440 pixels) with Cherry Trail Intel processor and 4GB of RAM. It’s called Chuwi HI12, it should be available from next January and sincerely his arrival is not surprising. In this period, in fact, we noticed that the attention of producers has shifted tablet larger and size from 12 inches seems to be the one that provides the best compromise between productivity, performance and ergonomics of mobile use.
HP already has one in the list even if Elite x2 is more aimed at the professional market, but who knows if he decides to launch one another for consumers, thus responding to the expected Samsung SM-W700 which should be presented in recent weeks .
Chuwi HI12 incorporates an Intel Atom Z8300 x5-and, even if it uses one of the cheapest models Intel Cherry Trail, the rest of the specifications does not disappoint. We do note that the technical data sheet from Santa Clara and related to that processor, is clearly underlined the support for up to 2GB of RAM, but in some situations the same chip can work in tablet with twice as much memory. And Chuwi HI12 is one example, with its 4GB.
Unlike any other tablet on the market, the device Chuwi runs on both Windows 10 and Android 5.1, has a well-integrated 64GB of storage expandable with a slot for microSD cards up to 128GB and has a large battery 11000 mAh. On board there is also a 5-megapixel camera on the back and a 2 megapixel front. Its variants will be available in colors: champagne gold (gold) and space gray (silver). The price is not yet known.
