Eizo’s new CG247X is specially designed according to the company for the needs of professional users who are engaged in pre-press, video editing and photography. The new IPS panel must cover 99% of the Adobe RGB color space and have a contrast of 1500 thanks to True Black: make one possible.
The Color Edge CG247X uses a 16-bit Look-Up Table (LUT) and is a 10-bit color increasing. This should result in a maximum color accuracy and depth, while stripes, ragged edges and faded colors can be prevented. The Digital Uniformity Equalizer (DUE) is to ensure a highly uniform brightness and color purity over the entire surface of the monitor and thus makes a precise assessment of the visual content possible.
In the CG247X integrated measuring instrument shall provide precise calibration, profiling and validation. It can be programmed so that the periodic calibration can be automated. Each calibration sensor is tailored to the individual monitor. The 3D LUT calibration can be precisely transferred to each individual tone. This allows you to distinguish the slightest nuances in softproofen, color degrees and the image editing. The color spaces of media standards, including REC709, EBU, SMPTE-C, and DCI are preset at the factory.
The Color Edge CG247X features a DVI-D, HDMI and DisplayPort input and a USB hub with two upstream and two downstream ports. The ColorNavigator calibration software Eizo and the magnetic shield are included.
