A few hours ago, Dell has revamped its entire fleet with new notebook models and hybrids. There’s something for every taste and every budget. One of the most interesting is the new Dell Latitude 12 7000 2-in-1, a hybrid Windows and the name seems to promise a technical high level. And in fact we are not mistaken.
As the cheapest Dell Latitude 11 5000 2-in-1, the new Dell Latitude 12 7000 2-in-1 is a 12.5-inch tablet with Intel Core M (Skylake) can support two different keyboard dock. Compared to the smaller model but this version has some additional features: it can integrate the Intel Core M7, it has two USB 3.1 Type-C and has a 4K display option. Of course you pay for all this technology and according to allegations made by Dell, the new Latitude 12 7000 should have a starting price of $ 1,049 (including the keyboard).
The base model includes an Intel Core M3-6Y30, 4GB of DDR3 1600MHz memory, 128GB of space on SSD drive and full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) with Gorilla Glass but, if you wish, you can add a more powerful Core M7 -6Y75, up to 8GB of RAM, display 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) and solid-state storage to 512GB. The tablet has a module 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, 30 Wh battery, Intel Realsense camera on the back and 5-megapixel front and microSDXC card reader. Dell will also offer models with 4G-LTE modem and, for the most demanding users, there is also an optional active pen for writing and drawing.
12 Dell Latitude 7000 is made entirely of carbon fiber, so it is fine (292 x 193 x 7.6 mm) and light (725 grams, the tablet only). Add the keyboard means bringing the thickness of the hybrid to 17.7 mm and the scales at 1.4 kg. On board of course Windows 10, Windows 8, you can ask for special needs
