Dell has updated its Latitude notebook range for business customers, with a new convertible, called Latitude 13 3000 2-in-1. It is not yet available on the Italian market, but in the US on its starting price is $ 699 and seems to be absent the “weakened” version of Latitude 13 7000 2-in-1 already on the market.
This is good news because if the hybrids (convertible and detachable) have very competitive prices on the consumer market, in the professional field they are priced well beyond the reach of small businesses. And this notebook might be the right compromise for commercial users.
As the name indicates, the Dell Latitude 13 3000 2-in-1 adopts a convertible concept, so the display can rotate up to 360 degrees hinges on transforming the notebook in tablet and in tent mode and stand for different uses. The American company has planned for the moment three SKUs, ranging especially for processor, RAM and storage, but all have a 13.3-inch Full HD display (1920 x 1080 pixels) touch, USB Type-C for power and connectivity, two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0, one HDMI 1.4a, audio jack and a 42 Wh battery.
Among the innovations there will also be an infrared camera with support for Windows Hello, as if to emphasize the professional vocation of this device, which will thus ensure protection to their data and secure access with facial recognition.
The entry-level configuration includes an Intel Pentium 4405U (Skylake) with 4GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage disk SSD and Windows 10 Pro, but the most demanding users can opt for the more powerful models with Intel Core i3 or Core i5 chips (always the Skylake family), 8GB or 16GB of RAM and storage of 256GB or 512GB at the price of $ 899 and $ 1,099. And if you will need more storage space, just insert the microSD slot.
At the moment we do not know whether the Dell Latitude 13 3000 2-in-1 will also be distributed in Italy, but we will be back if there are updates about it.
