ECS Liva One was discovered for the first time in a roadmap of Taiwan, last March, and expected on the market in July 2015, after the launch of the ECS and ECS Liva Liva Core X2. At the time we did not know the Mini PC, we had no image but only some general feature: Intel Core i3 / i5 / i7 6000 (Skylake) wallpapers, two slots for memory DDR4 SoDIMM, slots for 2.5-inch hard drives and SSD M .2 SATA, VGA, HDMI, USB 3.1 and DisplayPort. But it is passed in July, the entire summer and the new year, ECS Liva One no trace.
With a little ‘delay than expected, only this time, ECS has officially launched its new desktop computer compact Liva One and, as we thought, is equipped with Intel Skylake, with support for Windows and Ubuntu, as well as various solutions connectivity.
Measuring 175 x 172 x 33 mm, so it is a bit ‘bigger than X2 Liva, Liva Core and any other Mini PC launched in the past by ECS, but also has a much more powerful hardware equipment. E ‘it equipped with an Intel Core i3-6100T (Skylake), 4GB of RAM and 80GB SSD M.2, but can be replaced with any hard drive or a 2.5-inch SSD drive. Connectivity includes a module instead 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, four USB 3.0 ports, a USB 3.1 Type-C, Gigabit Ethernet, one microSD card slot, HDMI, DisplayPort, VGA, and audio jacks.
ECS currently has not announced the price and launch a period of orientation, but considering the technical details we expect (being the most powerful Liva launched to date) will also be the most expensive Mini PC family. For the debut we will probably have to wait until March.
