Eurocom has launched a new mainstream notebook: it is called Shark 5 and, as its name indicates, will be one of the strongest and most dangerous cars on the market. Within its frame, in fact, Eurocom has built a 15.6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS and a powerful quad-core Intel Core i7-6700HQ clocked at 2.6GHz (and up to 3.5GHz) , 4GB of DDR3 RAM (up to 32GB) and 500GB of storage on a mechanical hard drive running at 7200 RPM. Users can configure their Shark five seconds to their needs, opting for more RAM and storage media M.2 and SATA SSD. The graphics card is an Nvidia GeForce GTX 960m with 2GB of dedicated memory.
As for connectivity, the new notebook Eurocom uses a Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11n Wi-Fi (instead of 802.11ac WiFi) and Bluetooth, but you can optionally add a 3G modem. Kit interface is comprehensive and includes four USB ports and VGA, Mini DisplayPort and HDMI 1.4.
Shark 5 also has a DVD burner (or Blu-Ray option), but if necessary can be used for an additional hard drive. On board also a fingerprint reader, an optional TV tuner and a backlit keyboard, to use the laptop with ease even in night sessions.
Despite the equipment of first level, Eurocom Shark 5 measuring 38.5 x 26.8 x 2.9 cm and weighs 2.5Kg in its basic configuration. Prices start at $ 964 (815 euro exchange rate), but can also tap the $ 6,000, the more equipped SKU.
