Garmin tries to do it with virB Ultra 30. This model comes with a footprint of 57.5 x 45.9 x 31.3 mm (79.0 x 75.5 x 39.9 mm, with waterproof case) and a weight of 87.9 grams (including battery). The integrated sensor lets you take pictures at 12 megapixels and videos with Ultra HD resolution up to 30 frames per second. Other available resolutions are 2,7K / 60 fps, 1080p / 120 fps, 720p / 480p and 240 fps / 300 fps. The maximum bit rate is 60 Mbps.
Stabilization works images 3-axis (not operational when recording at resolutions higher than 1080p / 60fps) and is available manual control with real-time preview. The range is up to 2 hours to 1080p / 30 fps and up to 1 hour at 4K / 30 fps.
Garmin offers free virB Edit software for video editing. Movies can be enriched with the data recorded by the built-in sensors. The virB Ultra 30 will be available from this month to 529.99 euros.
