Hisense announced the arrival of a firmware update that will bring interesting news on TV XT910 (the series is made up only from 65 “65XT910) and K700 (composed of 58” and 65 58K700 “65K700). The most interesting aspect is the compatibility with HDR (specifically with the HDR10 standards), especially useful on the XT910 model because it is a Full LED LCD with 244 local dimming resolution and Ultra HD areas.
The new firmware will also bring two other changes: will be introduced compatibility with Amazon Video (unfortunately not yet present in Italy) and Vidaa Lite 2 interface, designed to ensure a better user experience. The firmware will be distributed in Europe beginning in August.
Update: According to reports from French sources, the update process should introduce full compatibility HDR10 on HDMI ports (which would then become the HDMI 2.0a for all purposes).
