HP Envy 13 is a premium notebook that the American company launched about a year ago and is now available in Italy in various SKU: € 900 for versions with Core i5 (Skylake) and Full HD display and 1400 euro for those with core i7 (Skylake) and qHD display. With the launch of Intel Core processors seventh low-voltage generation, however, is time to update and so during the night unveiled a new HP Envy 13 with faster chips, bigger battery and a starting price slightly lower, as less compared to the US.
The new HP Envy 13 (2016) is already on sale on the Store HP to the base price of $ 849, but at the moment we know neither the availability nor the prices for the European market (including the Italian). We will keep you updated if there was news about it.
The notebook is built with an aluminum chassis and magnesium, which measures 325 x 226 x 139 mm: with the touch display model weighs approximately 1.5 kg, while the non-touch touch 1.4Kg. Both versions are equipped with a 57.8 Wh battery that, according to HP’s statement, should provide a range of at least 14 hours. It supports fast charging, which allows for up to 12 hours of battery life on one charge of just 90 minutes.
HP Envy 13 has a backlit keyboard and a large glass touchpad, stereo speakers facing up and a new active cooling mechanism that uses the same technology dell’ultrasottile HP Spectre two ventoline on the back of the laptop, the first produces air blowing on the CPU, while the other pushes the same air (become hot) off from the notebook through the ventilation grills. Kit interfaces consists of a Type-C USB port, two USB 3.0 ports with Sleep & Charge support, a slot for microSD cards and a HDMI port.
Will have different configurations, each will be chosen an IPS display 13.3-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) or QHD + (3200 x 1800 pixels) but the touch option is only available on one with higher resolution. The rest of the specifications includes an Intel Core i5 / i7 processor (Kaby Lake), up to 16GB of RAM, 256GB, 512GB or 1TB storage on SSD PCIe SSD SATA or 128GB. The entry-level model, exactly what costs $ 849, integrates a Core i5, 8GB of RAM, full HD display and 128GB of storage space.
