HP had upgraded its offer in terms of portable gaming in late May, launching two new notebook models from HP Omen game, with size from 15.6 “and 17.3” and a new design to the glorious tradition VooDoo PC. For those who did not had memory VooDoo PC was a PC manufacturer for gaming especially loved by the American public because of outstanding performance, extreme customization ability at time of purchase and for an aesthetic inspired by tribal tattoos and the Voodoo.
After the acquisition by HP, though, the identity of VooDoo PC gaming notebook had been lost along with visionary project, and far too ambitious for its time, to create the first gaming notebook liquid cooled (it was 2007 and the first notebook from the game series with liquid cooling arrived only in 2015). The legacy of VooDoo PC, however, re-emerged strongly in the new lineup HP Omen that dusts off the logo VooDoo PC to mark unequivocally a takeover of the US House route strategies in the field of gaming.
HP Omen 17 VR is a variant otenziata dell’Omen 17
The first notebook from the new course game are the HP Omen 15:17 already on sale in Italy with respective prices of € 1,299 and € 1,399 and graphics cards Nvidia GeForce GTX 965m with 4GB of GDDR5 video memory. But there was a feeling that something was missing, a gaming notebooks for enthusiast gamers, a category of users that HP so far had a little ‘overlooked.
This notebook exists and is called HP Omen 17 VR to distinguish it from the model 17.3 “basis of which shares the design with carbon fiber effect finish, logo VooDoo PC at the center of the cover and keyboard Red Dragon, although in hindsight the frame is thicker and bulky (the salt thickness 2,99cm to 3,29cm and weight from 2,85Kg to 3.2kg). the reason is obvious: we must allow ventilation of more powerful hardware components among which the new Nvidia GPU based mobile architecture Pascal.
I have 2 GPUs NVIDIA GeForce Series 10 currently available: Nvidia GeForce 1070 GTX, which alone ensures a higher performance than the previous Nvidia GTX 980 desktop with the mobile core, or an Nvidia GeForce 1060 GTX that provides services similar to those of the previous GForce GX 980M. In both cases, these are unusual game performance for HP noteook although we would have hoped for a Nvidia GeForce 1080 GTX (if you are interested to know more about Nvidia GeForce 10 series notebook can go to this link).

The whole is powered by a battery very high capacity as well 95Wh (the battery on HP Omen 17 standard is from 62Wh) accredited of a maximum range of 7,5h (the official to verify in concrete).
