HP has announced the arrival in Italy of the new ProBook series 400. This is four notebooks with screens between 13.3 and 17.3 inches, addressed to small and medium-sized enterprises. The US manufacturer says that these laptops represented the best choice for mobile professionals, as they offer a prefect combination between performance, weight and autonomy. The “Italian” Prices are pretty interesting, considering the build quality and technical specifications.
In addition to the attractive design, the ProBook 430/440/450/470 G4 possess other notable features, including the aluminum reinforced frame that absorbs falls, shocks and vibrations, and resists dust and high temperatures, as required by MIL standards STD-810G. The keyboard is traditional, but the user can also choose the backlit version that is resistant to water spray. All models integrate the latest Intel processors, seventh-generation (Core i7-7500U, Core i5-7200U and Core i3-7100U), up to 16 GB DDR4 RAM at 2,133 MHz and a video card Nvidia GeForce 930MX with 2 GB of memory dedicated (440/450/470).
The main difference between the four models is the screen diagonal: 13.3, 14, 15.6 and 17.3 inches, respectively, for ProBook 430, 440, 450 and 470. HP offers choice between touch panels and non- touch HD resolution (1366 × 768 pixels), full HD (1920 × 1080 pixels) and HD + (1600 × 900 pixels). There are also many storage options including hard disk normal, hybrid hard drives and SSDs in M.2 format.
All notebooks integrate USB 2.0 ports, USB 3.0, USB Type-C and Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI output, WiFi 802.11ac modules, Bluetooth 4.2 and LTE (optional), multi-format card reader, a 720p webcam, fingerprint reader and battery 45 Wh which provides up to 14 hours (ProBook 430). In models 450 and 470 are represented by the optical drive. The operating system is Windows 10. Base prices are € 630 (ProBook 430 and 440), 652 euro (ProBook 450) and 739 euro (ProBook 470).
