Surprise, and a few days since the start of Computex 2017, Lenovo has “refreshed” its consumer notebook line by presenting the IdeaPad 320, IdeaPad 320S and IdeaPad 720S that will be available by June on the US market. Each model is designed for a specific type of user, from the less demanding one looking for something accessible to the one that wants premium functionality in a convenient device. All new Lenovo IdeaPad (2017) runs on Windows 10 and incorporates a Precision Touchpad that will allow users to switch from one application to another or minimize windows with a simple touch.

Lenovo IdeaPad 320 is available in two formats: the largest and most expensive is the 17.3-inch (1600 x 900 pixel) non-touch model weighing 2.8Kg and is declining in black and gray with a starting price of $ 489.99 , While the smallest 15.6-inch HD (1366 x 768 pixel) version weighs 2.2Kg and is sold in black, white, red, blue, silver and purple at the price of $ 489.99 (touch) or $ 439.99 (non- touch). Regardless of their size, however, each Lenovo IdeaPad 320 has an Intel Kaby Lake processor (up to Core i7), 16GB of RAM, and 2TB of hard disk space with a DVD burner (rare in notebooks), HDMI, USB Type-C, Ethernet, WiFi and Bluetooth, audio jack and memory card reader. In the US, Lenovo can also add a fingerprint reader to the system to gain access to the system without the password, exploiting the potential of Windows Hello.

The Lenovo IdeaPad 320S will have 14 and 15 inches screens, but with a lower weight and slightly refined design than the Lenovo IdeaPad 320 standard, especially because of the thinner frames around the screen. Each model has a 7th generation Intel Core processor (up to Core i7), 8GB of RAM, Harman Kardon speakers, backlit keyboard and 720p camera. The interface kit includes a USB 3.0, a USB Type-C standard, HDMI, Bluetooth and WiFi.
The 14-inch IdeaPad 320S weighs just 1.7Kg and has a thickness of 1.9mm but, despite being so small, Lenovo has supplied it with a 3-cell battery (compared to the 2-cell IddeaPad 320) and state memory Solid up to 256GB to speed up startup times. It will be available from $ 739 in red, gray, and white. The 15-inch Lenovo IdeaPad 320S, just this model, replaces integrated graphics with an Nvidia GeForce 940MX with 2GB of RAM for light gaming and editing. It weighs 1.9Kg and will be available at $ 749.99 in the colors of white and gray.
Lenovo IdeaPad 320s
Finally there is Lenovo IdeaPad 720S. At the starting price of $ 949, this model has the same size (15.2mm thick and 1.6kg weight) of a 13-inch notebook while having a 14-inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixel) display. It features Intel Core i5-7200U 2.5GHz or Core i7-7500U 2.7GHz, 8/16GB DDR4 RAM, 256 / 512GB of PCIe NVMe Solid State Drive Storage, Backlit Keyboard, JBL Speakers, WiFi 802.11 Ac, Bluetooth 4.1 and 8 hour autonomy with a 56Wh battery. Nvidia GeForce 940MX will also be available in the basic configuration.
Onboard, we also find a USB Type-C / Thunderbolt 3 USB port, two USB 3.0, HDMI, audio jack, microSD card reader, and fingerprint reader for use in conjunction with Windows Hello. All run by Windows 10 Signature Edition and a fan that will control internal temperatures to avoid overheating.
