A few days ago we only had a theme song, a few pictures and some technical feature, but sometimes we have enough to say that the Lenovo TB-8703N / 7703N-F and TB / F certified by FCC engineers and TENAA were unpublished tablet. It lacked the brand name, but it was just a detail because we were assured that the Chinese company was at work on a new family of Android tablets. It was only a matter of hours.
And today the confirmation: the Bluetooth SIG has “filed” a new Lenovo Tab3 Plus 8, which will be declined in Lenovo Lenovo TB and TB-8703X-8703F models. There is no sign yet of TB-7703X variants and TB-7703F but considering the code similarities, these versions will be named Lenovo Tab3 7 Plus. Difficult to determine the time what will be their end market, but according to our experience should have a slightly more powerful technical equipment of Lenovo Lenovo Tab3 Tab3 7 and 8, while maintaining the same design and basic functionality.
If the specifications circulated in recent days should be confirmed, in fact, the new Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus integrates an 8-inch Full HD display (1920 x 1200 pixels), SoC with octa-core Snapdragon 625 2.0GHz, 2-3GB of RAM and storage 16-32GB, 4250 mAh battery, two cameras (front and rear) and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, while Lenovo Tab3 7 Plus should have a 7-inch screen (resolution unknown), SoC quad-core Snapdragon 410 1.2GHz, 2-3GB of RAM and 16-32GB ROM with Android 6.0.1.
As you can see the technical characteristics of both tablets they are superior (and not a little!) To those of Lenovo Tab3 7 and 8 inches today and certainly their selling price will be higher. The materials seem different: colored plastic makes the metal space or a brushed aluminum finish.
The institution does not provide us technical details than the presence of a Bluetooth 4.2 module, but the passage in its laboratories assures us the imminent arrival not only in the US market but also Europe (and who knows Italian). Basically, there are many chances to see them at IFA 2016 in Berlin, in just over three weeks.
We wish to clarify that the Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus have been certified with three variants of Lenovo Phab2 Pro, on whose codes (PB2-690M Lenovo, Lenovo PB2-690N, Lenovo PB2-690Y) web was wondering a lot lately. initially identified (and erroneously) as a 18.4-inch Android tablet, the Lenovo Phab2 Pro is certainly a smartphone and might be a Phab2 Pro version with Project Tango
