Lenovo Yoga 700 11 and 14

The new family Lenovo Yoga 700 was officially presented last October, but we have had a chance to look at it up close and touch it premiered at IFA 2015 in Berlin. We have collected the first impressions in the video evidence you find below, useful if you are going to buy it, and we can add some interesting details on the availability for the Italian market. Lenovo Yoga 700 goes on sale in Italy from February 2016 in two versions: Yoga 700-11 (11-inch) will start from 899 Euros, while Yoga 700-14 (14-inch) will have a base price of 999 Euros. The prices include VAT.

We wish to clarify that, for the moment, have not yet been provided with the configurations for the Italian market, so we can not know the characteristics of the two basic models and the possible variants. It is still a very good news, considering that until now had emerged only prices for the US market and it was not yet certain the arrival in our country.

Like all notebook convertible Yoga, these models can be used in multiple ways: notebook stand, tent and tablets. They have some features in common, such as the touch screen 10 contact points Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS albeit with two different diagonal, Dolby Home Theater DS1.0, AccuType ergonomic backlit keyboard for comfortable typing and of course Windows 10 . The rest of the specifications, however, varies depending on the sizes and SKUs planned.

Lenovo Yoga 700-11 is the smallest model of 11.6 inches, with a thickness of 15.8 mm and weight of 1.1Kg, and is more oriented to portability with an Intel Core M Skylake (the model in the video, for example, integrates a Core M5- 6Y54), 8 GB of RAM, up to 256GB of SSD storage and about 8 hours away from the outlet. Lenovo Yoga 700-14 14-inch has a thickness of 7.17 mm and 1.5 kg in weight, and is more devoted to productivity with a Skylake processor, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of SSD and Nvidia GeForce 940M GPU.
The idea that we made it clear: Lenovo Yoga 700 is a cheaper option of Lenovo Yoga 900, which as you may already know will arrive in Italy in mid-December in two models from € 1499 and € 1799. Lacks the attention to detail, the hinge is less sophisticated, the polycarbonate frame and the overall look a bit ‘more essential, but it is the right choice for those who want to save a few euro without sacrificing portability and performance
