LG has announced that the V10 smartphone comes with 5.7-inch display in late December also to Germany. According to the manufacturer this phablet is specially designed for multimedia and the use of social media. There are, inter alia, a second (small) display on the main screen, which displays alerts, and provides quick access to selected apps.
The main screen of the LG V10 measures 5.7 inches and the IPS display has a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels (qHD). The “Second Screen” is about 2.1 inches in size and displays 160×1040 pixels.
To emphasize the multimedia claim, the Korean manufacturer has installed a 32-bit hi-fi digital / analog converter to play music at a higher quality. Standard audio files are extrapolated to 32-bit Hi-Fi. So that also arrives at the user, “Quad Beat 3 headphones” are included, which were developed together with the high-end audio experts from AKG Acoustics. These are intended to provide powerful bass and clear treble.
The front camera there twice for even better Selfies: a lens allows 80 degree angle, the other dominates wide-angle shots with 120 degrees and the whole with 5 megapixels. By contrast, the main camera has 16 megapixels.
The casing of the LG V10 has a fingerprint sensor, a stainless steel frame and “soft Dura Skin” is designed to protect your smartphone from falls or other ill-treatment.
Base of the LG V10 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor with a total of six 64-bit cores: four ARM Cortex-A53 with 1.44 GHz and two Cortex-A57 with 1.82 GHz. The SoC is assisted by 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. The latter can be expanded via microSD card up to 2 terabytes.
The LG V10 battery is replaceable and has a capacity of 3000 mAh.
The operating system Android is 5.1.1 (Lollipop).
The LG V10 measures and weighs 192 grams 159,6×79,3×8,6 mm.
From the end of December it will be available for 649 euros.
