MeegoPad updates again, just three months after the launch of the latest model. The key Chinese, the first real competitor of Intel Compute Stick, comes in its third generation and – not surprisingly – called MeegoPad T03 with a few tweaks from the point of view of construction and software, since it can boast a system more efficient cooling and dual OS. Do not expect big changes, even this latest version is very similar to the first launched.
As far as hardware, MeegoPad T03 little change compared to the past, while aesthetically we can see a nice grill on the wider side (no, not a speaker) that helps maintain lower internal temperatures. On board, the Chinese company has an integrated SoC quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F, with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of eMMC storage, WiFi 802.11n and Bluetooth 4.0. Kit doors is virtually unchanged: in fact we find two USB 2.0 ports, a microSD card reader and a HDMI. MeegoPad T03 is recharged through a microUSB port and lights up with a small button on the side.
At the software level, however, you will have Android 4.4 KitKat in conjunction with Windows 8.1 with Bing, upgradeable to Windows 10. Meegopad T03 can be bought in some Chinese shops at the price of EUR 87 including shipping. According to the latest rumors, however, it will soon be the turn even the MeegoPad T04 that will likely have the same equipment of hardware MeegoPad T02 (with Windows 10, however), but design and construction features of MeegoPad T03.
