MSI GS63 and GS73 Stealth Pro

We announced just before the start of the Computex 2016: “MSI renewed most of its mobile offering with its most powerful upgrade gamestation” and on that occasion we also made some name like MSI GS63 and GS73 Stealth Pro, GT73 and GT83. And indeed it was so.
We were among the few Italians to visit the MSI booth at Computex 2016, one of the richest and engaging for those who love gaming and is intrigued by the virtual reality, but our attention focused mainly on laptops. MSI GS63 and GS73 Stealth Pro are the successors of the current MSI GS72 and GS62, as well as among the powerful gaming notebook on the market but – unlike other gamestation – trying to combine their high performance with a more compact design. It is no coincidence they are thinner and lighter than other models.

Take a look at our hands-on video and gallery of photos taken at the booth, to make you realize how much technology is contained in these machines.
MSI GS63 Stealth MSI GS73 Stealth Pro and Pro have many of the common technical specifications, except for the display: 15.6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) in the smallest model and 17.3-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) in the larger one, but both with anti-glare panel that, while not appreciated by all, proves really very comfortable, crisp and clear in brightly lit environments such as at a trade show. They are based on an Intel Core processor i7-6700HQ (Skylake) and Nvidia GeForce GTX 970M graphics card, a blend of power that (especially at full load) could be “splash” the internal temperatures of the components if there was an efficient system of Booster Cooler dissipation called Trinity and consists of five heatpipes and three fans Whirlwind Blade.

The whole is “packed” into a frame made with a special alloy of magnesium and lithium (Mg-Li), already employed in the aerospace and harder than aluminum sector in some tests, with a thickness of just 17.7 mm and a weight of 1.89kg for MSI GS63 Stealth Pro and 19.9 mm and 2.6 kg for MSI GS73 Stealth Pro. Basically a record for the category.
Will be available with various SKUs (up to) 32GB DDR4 RAM and SSD NVMe M.2 storage up to 512GB and 1TB HDD. No shortage SteelSeries keyboard with the typical RGB backlight of MSI gaming notebook, Thunderbolt 3 with double 4K output.
MSI GS73 Stealth MSI GS73 Stealth Pro and Pro are not yet available on the market, nor is it known if they ever arrive in Italy, but the Taiwanese company has already provided some information for US users. The two gamestation will go on sale in the US from August respectively $ 1,599 and $ 1,699.
