ASUS ROG Strix GL702VM
ASUS ROG Strix GL702VM is virtually identical all’Asus GL502VT from an aesthetic point of view, but it is bigger and more powerful thanks to some of the latest generation of hardware. Its aluminum frame keeps the typical color notes of the ROG family, but in this series the red makes orange space that we find in the two LEDs on the cover, in the backlight of the keyboard, in the logo, in the legs and in the four most commonly used letters by gamers, WASD. It is quite slim and compact (415 x 280 x 22 ~ 24 mm, 2.7 kg with battery) not only for the gaming notebook category, but also to that of 17-inch laptops.
The hardware equipment is the most updated: ASUS GL702VM integrates Intel Core or Intel Core i7-6700HQ i5-6300HQ processors, belonging to the family Skylake (since Kaby Lake does not yet have high-performance chip), supporting up to 32GB of DDR4-2133MHz RAM memory and various storage solutions, which provide 7200rpm hard drive (up to 1TB), SSD up to 512GB SATA3 or (in addition) 256GB SSD PCIe Gen3X4. ASUS has provided various SKUs, with specific and different prices, to meet the most demanding users but also to those who have limited budgets.

The combination of these two components will be able to play the latest titles, including games and virtual reality applications.
The data sheet is then completed by a module WiFi 802.11ac (2 x 2), Bluetooth 4.1, dual speakers, a Gigabit Ethernet, three USB 3.0 ports, a Thunderbolt 3 (Type-C), a mini DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI and jack audio. There is also a backlit keyboard, rather comfortable (distance between keys: 1.6 mm) and precise (30-key rollover), a battery of 76 Wh and of course Windows 10 operating system.
ASUS has not yet released information on the price and availability of ASUS ROG Strix GL702VM in Italy, but we know that in the US the same notebook will be released in two configurations to $ 1,399 (HDD 1TB) and $ 1,599 (256GB SSD PCIe Gen3x4 in addition to the HDD).
