During Panasonic Automotive Innovation Summit held in Barcelona, Panasonic has announced a new device belonging to the range of rugged tablet. After presenting the 7-inch version in late May, the Japanese company has therefore unveiled the brand new Toughpad FZ-A2, Android tablet with 10.1-inch displays that offer the ultimate in strength and customization.
Ideal for work in the workshop, in showrooms and in all cases in which we are forced to do business on the move, the tablet of Panasonic rugged granting some maneuverability thanks to 880 grams in weight and thickness of just 16.4 mm.
The 10.1-inch display has a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels and has a visibility of 800CD / m2. This display can also be used with gloves or by means of a capacitive pen even in rainy conditions.
Toughpad FZ-A2 is a tablet fully rugged magnesium alloy, is tested for drops from 1.2 meters and is IP65 certified for water and dust resistance.

Inside it is placed a processor Intel Atom x5-Z8550 four core with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM memory. The presence of Android Marshmallow and Android for Work allow the user to fully customize a wide range of business interfaces and take advantage of various connectivity options. The low fertility WiFi 802.11ac Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260, jacks USB 3.0 Type-A and Type-C 3.1 OTG, HDMI port, GPS and a slot for microSD. In particular, the Type-C port delivers speeds of up to 5Gbps, while the USB On The Go allows you to copy files from one Android device to another.
Google Android for Work offers the ability to segregate private profile than employment, thus ensuring maximum privacy and, simultaneously, the ability to leverage the tools for working in an integrated way and fast.

The battery provides up to 9 hours of work, while the front camera (Full HD) and rear (8MP) give the opportunity to the user to record video and take pictures on all occasions.
Panasonic Toughpad FZ-A2 can finally count on a range of accessories and peripherals, including the desktop cradle and charger with 4 compartments. The tablet will also have two optional vehicle dock (one slim and one extended) designed by Panasonic Global Docking Solutions.
The new rugged tablet Panasonic will be available for purchase starting in July at a price not yet disclosed.
