Panasonic today launched the fourth generation of its tablet fully rugged Toughpad FZ-G1, with improved performance and communication capabilities, autonomy of 14 hours and 10 Pro Windows operating system: characteristics that confirm the 10.1-inch tablet more chosen by the mobile worker. The Toughpad as well as in companies in which much of the labor force work in the field, such as utilities, logistics, insurance surveys and field services, FZ-G1 has in fact proved extremely popular in many sectors, from retail to manufacturing, and services first aid.
The new generation of the Toughpad FZ-G1 offers more performance with less energy consumption compared to competitors in the same category, thanks to the updated processor Intel Core i5-6300U vPro sixth-generation (3 MB Cache, 2.4 GHz up to 3.0 GHz Intel Turbo Boost Technology). improved graphics performance are ensured by the Intel HD Graphics 520 integrated GPU.
Since its introduction in 2013, the autonomy of the standard battery of the Toughpad FZ-G1 has almost doubled from 8 to 14 hours, while the use of the optional extended battery now offers up to 28 hours of operation. They were included in the latest communications capabilities with Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 WLAN and Bluetooth version 4.1 Class 1. The rear 8MP camera ensures clarity and accuracy to take pictures and scan documents.
The fully rugged Toughpad FZ-G1 with Windows 10 Pro also sets new standards among the tablet with even outside the visible screen, making it ideal for external workers. The Toughpad FZ-G1 mk4 will be available from July 2016 with a recommended retail price for the basic configuration of € 2,396 (excluding VAT).
