It seems that in addition to the new Samsung Series 9, the Korean company is about to launch a refresh of its line of ultraportable Samsung ATIV Book 9. The first generation, launched in 2013 after having focused for years on a range of ultrabook (Thin-and indeed -Light) Premium, has a little ‘disappointed expectations of customers: the ATIV Book 9 had roughly the same elegant design of the Series 9 but with the technical specifications of the entry-level course at a price slightly lower.
The new Samsung ATIV Book 9 Lite (2016), Code NT910S3L, but has a data sheet similar to that of the models Series 9 (2016): Intel Skylake and 8GB should jointly contribute to a significant improvement in performance at least compared to previous models . Specifically, the new ultraportable Korean company will have a brilliant 13.3-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels), Intel Pentium 4405U with Intel HD Graphics 510, 128GB SSD, 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.1. As for connectivity, we find a USB 3.0 port, one USB 2.0, one HDMI, mini Ethernet jack, an SDXC card reader and a battery of 30 Wh. All managed by Windows 10.
The dimensions are always very compact, just 17.7 mm thick and 1.3 kg in weight, but not as much as those of the model ATIV Book 9 (NT900X3L) by 13.3 inches which measures 12.7 mm and weighs 860 grams. For now, Samsung has launched ATIV Book 9 Lite only in South Korea but it is likely that the ultraportable will disembark in the coming days on other markets including the USA, Japan, Taiwan and Australia.
Samsung has provided four colors: pink, blue, white and blue. 6 January to 31 March 2016, it will be possible to buy a case, keyboard and mouse coordinates to a workstation elegant and neat. The prices of single ultrabook and the bundle but are not yet known.
