Samsung unveiled the CFG70 monitor at Games Week in Milan. The new model uses an LCD panel to type LED VA (Vertical Alignment) 24 “with full HD resolution. The backlight uses Quantum Dot cadmium. This technology uses nano-crystals composed of semiconductor capable of absorbing and emitting light. The peculiarities of Quantum Dot is the ability to reproduce the purest colors and more similar to those seen in nature (therefore more saturated than the standard traditionally used in the consumer video market, so you can cover wider gamut).
Screen CFG70 is curved. Samsung defines 1800R to indicate a curvature equal to a circle with a radius of 1.8 meters. The brightness amounts to 350 cd / m2 – nits and the viewing angle is 178 ° along both axes. It is then given a contrast ratio of 3,000: 1, a refresh rate of 144Hz and a response time of 1 ms MPRT (Moving Picture Response Time).
The support is provided with a double-hinged arm that allows to control the positioning of the screen. The OSD Gaming UX interface provides access to a control panel with all the main settings visible at a glance. The menu has been designed to allow you to change parameters faster (you may use texts on the front and back of the monitor).
