Samsung Galaxy TabPro S Gold Edition



Earlier this year, Samsung has launched a new hybrid 2-in-1 with Windows 10, high-resolution display, keyboard dock and support for the S-Pen (optional). His name is Samsung Galaxy S TabPro and is now on sale (even) in Italy at the starting price of 750 €, with an Intel Core processor m3 (Skylake), 4GB of RAM and 128GB of SSD, despite the launch storage it cost no less than 1100 euro (WiFi-only) and 1300 € (LTE). But recently the Korean company has updated the technical specifications of the tablet. And not only.

For $ 999, pretty much the same price as the old model to the launch, the new Samsung Galaxy S TabPro Gold Edition retains the hardware platform by adding more RAM and storage space to make multitasking, running heavier applications faster and store more data.

In essence, yet incorporates an Intel Core m3-6Y30 (Skylake) with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory, along the beautiful 12-inch display Super AMOLED (2160 x 1440 pixels), in a chassis with a thickness of 6.3 mm and it weighs only 693 grams. Connectivity uses a form MIMO 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi Direct, NFC, LTE Cat 6 modem (optional) and lacks GPS and GLONASS, accelerometer and ambient light sensor, in addition to a Type-C USB port. A data-sheet closes with two cameras 5MP AF (back) and 5 megapixel (front), and a 5200 mAh battery (39.5W), which supports rapid charge (2.5 hours for full charge) and ensures ‘autonomy of 10.5 hours. In short, nothing new.

But as the name suggests, its data sheet is not the only one to have suffered a ritocchino: Samsung Galaxy S TabPro Gold Edition differs from the cheaper versions, which are likely to remain still on the list, for a gold frame combined with a keyboard matching dock.
