In recent weeks, Samsung is often at the center of rumors about some devices that is developing and is expected to launch this summer, ripresentandoli for the European market at IFA in Berlin that every year is held in the first week of September. There are no official information or confirmation from the Korean company, but the material discovered on the network gives us the opportunity to understand what are the plans of Samsung in the mobile and wearable.
Arriving there would be: a new smartwatch Samsung Gear S3 and the next phablet Samsung Galaxy Note 7 (probably in Edge version) with S-Pen. Obviously we do not have all the technical specifications of the devices, but enough to make us a first idea.
Samsung Gear S3 (code-named Solis) should be based on Tizen operating system and, just like its predecessor Samsung S2 Gear launched in late 2015, and perhaps one of the most successful smartwatch company, will have a circular display. The only clock image, unearthed by the boys Tizen Cafe, describes an elegant, aesthetically very similar device to a Rolex, especially for the strap and the knurled crown. And this does not surprise us, given that for some time the smartwatch are also fashion accessories and luxury items.
Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is rather a surprise: we knew that the Korean company would launch a new generation phablet, but all we expected that after the Galaxy Note 5 there was a 6. Samsung Galaxy Note instead decided to skip the sixth generation and probably “approve” the family to the Galaxy S7 launched earlier this year. According to spread by Evan Blass, a serial leaker, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will feature a 5.7 inch AMOLED display (2560 x 1440 pixels) with 64GB of expandable memory with a microSD card slot. On board will be two 12 megapixel cameras (rear) and 5 megapixel (front) and an iris scanner, all in a waterproof casing (IP68 certified) in black, silver and blue. And ‘certain that the phablet will be accompanied by the Samsung S-Pen.
The first rumors add that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will be available in a version of Edge, very similar technically but with a curved display on the sides. The phablet could be launched at an event dedicated on August 2, while for the Samsung Gear S3 the event is scheduled for early September.
