The top of the Samsung TV series, the Q9, arrives in our country. A top-level device with QLED technology and a gigantic 88-inch screen. We already knew about the existence of this model when it appeared in Asia and then in the US, but it has not been until now that its distribution reaches Spain.
One more step in size
Samsung’s QLED TV catalog for 2017 included up to now screens up to a maximum of 75 inches. Now, with the arrival of the Samsung Q9, a new horizon with 88 inches is reached. A size that can only be used if the reproduced image quality is optimal.
That’s why QLED panels, with Quantum Dot technology with metallic coating, are ideal for reproducing quality images with these sizes, as they cover 100% of the color volume. Even in peaks of brightness, this QLED range will keep the nuances of color, enhancing the details of the image.
As Samsung has become accustomed to us with some of its latest releases, the Q9 offers us an ultra-thin and simple aesthetic, with two adjustable feet, and a system to hook the terminal to the wall without gap between socks (system known as “No-Gap”). . In addition, with a single transparent optical cable of 1.88 mm in thickness, the installation becomes simple and does not affect the aesthetics of the room.

The terminal has already been talked about in Europe. The prestigious German magazine Video Magazin has given it a record score within its standards, and has named it the “best practical practice for HDR TVs”.
“The purpose of Samsung is to expand our presence in the ultra premium TV market with our ultra-large QLED TV models, which integrate a perfect combination of technology and design.” For all these reasons, it may not be the only large TV that we see appear in our market.

Availability and warranty
This Samsung Q9, like the rest of QLED TVs of the brand, now offers a new 10-year warranty for screen marking. This marking occurs as a result of displaying a constant image on the screen, reducing the life of the TV.
This warranty began for two years, but now Samsung has launched to offer this new warranty, which makes the purchase of this TV an investment. Regarding the warranty for any other type of problem, five years are offered.
Regarding availability and prices, we still do not have official data, although there is talk of a price close to 15,000 euros, as well as late August for possible launch. If true, we would not have to wait long to have this huge terminal available. However, there is nothing confirmed.
