During the CES 2016 in Las Vegas, SanDisk X400 SSD presented, new solid-state drive 1TB. This is not a piece of hardware any, as the Californian company has revealed that it is the memory 1TB SSD SATA M.2 world’s thinnest with a thickness of just 1.5 mm, 0.73 mm less than the previous X300 model.
X400 SSD is based on the sixth generation of proprietary technology X3 and nCache of 2.0, it has a duration up to 5 years with 320TB of rewriting in time and is able to reach speeds of sequential reading and writing respectively of 545MB / s to 520MB / s . The speed random read arrives up to 95000 IOPS, while the random write reaches 75000 IOPS.
Not bad even consumption: 2.5 watt read, 3.9 watts in writing. As for safety, SanDisk has adopted AES 256-bit and compatibility TCG Opal 2.0, making it the ideal product in the medical, financial and education.
In addition to the 1TB version, SanDisk offers the X400 in sizes of 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and is also available in the form factor for laptops.
