It is assumed that AMD will launch the new AMD Radeon RX 470 and RX 460 between this week and next, and the proof is that the first images of custom graphics have come to light. In this case, as has almost always been a model of excellence assembler AMD, Sapphire, specifically its Platinum Edition RX 470 model that we show below.
So it seems, Sapphire has slightly changed the reference design PCB of the graphics to suit your personal sink. This, silver color, type blower is like the AMD reference, but the assembler has integrated a quite striking backplate that covers the entire back of the graphic as you can see below.
We can also see that the PCB has two power phases less than the reference model of the RX 480 and featuring eight GDDR5 RAM memory chips that will add 4 GB of graphics memory. In theory, AMD Radeon RX 470 will have 2,048 stream processors, 128 TMUs, 32 ROPs and memory interface of 256 bits. Like the RX 480, only you need a PCI-Express 6-pin connector from the power supply to operate, so its TDP is 150 watts.
Theoretically, the Radeon RX 470 will have a suggested $ 179 price when they are released. Following the same trend we saw with the Radeon RX 480, this will mean that we will see in stores in Spain for around 220 euros surely, although again these data are confirmed and are our assumption (although certainly not move away much of reality apparently seen). As mentioned earlier, AMD is expected to officially launch this graph and the RX 460 between this week and next, so in theory not be long before we find out for sure
