The series of Haier Leisure smartphone was launched during the MWC 2016 in Barcelona in March and was waiting in Italy since April, but was made to wait longer than expected. Of the two models making up, Haier L56 5 “and Haier W60 5.2”, only the first is finally on sale in Italy with a 3-month delay that could make its mark especially in a sector in rapid evolution such as Mobile .
This is not an insurmountable problem because Haier, the world’s first manufacturer of major home appliances for 7 years in a row can count on a very strong distribution network, a strong brand and well recognizable and on partnerships of excellence, but it is still a small drawback: the Android version installed sull’HaierPhone L56 is 5.1 while still at this time the Chinese smartphones have passed almost all to Android 6.0. We do not know if Haier will update the firmware in marshmallow but would still be preferable to make ends already on the market with the latest release of Android pre-installed.
The rest of the features dell’Haier L56 is however still relevant: there is a rodatissimo Mediatek MT6735 quad-core processor at 1.3GHz with integrated LTE, a 5 “display with IPS HD resolution and on-cell technology with 2.5D protective glass curved edges and a thin, compact chassis with a thickness of only 7.3mm. the shell is made of metal and ensures excellent strength and resistance to torsion and houses a 2200mAh battery that should ensure a maximum range of 7 hours in function and 25 hours standby.

Among the strengths of this terminal we point out the allocation of memory which provides 2GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM (expandable via microSD up to 64GB) and the multimedia sector that is a bit ‘the hallmark of Leisure series. If dell’Haier L56 is a rear room 13mp with f / 2.0 aperture, dual-tone LED flash and autofocus and a front room PDAF for selfies 5MP.
The list price dell’HaierPhone Haier L56 is 179 €, the same announced at MWC 2016, while there is still a trace in Italy of the higher-end model, Haier W60, which was to complete the Leisure series with a price of € 219. Haier W60 has the same hardware platform of the L56 model with quad-core Mediatek processor, 2GB of memory and 16GB of storage and a similar metal frame with ultra slim profile with a thickness of 7.3mm. What changes is the display with a very elegant edge-to-edge finish and ultrathin side frame to allow an easier grip and the addition of a fingerprint sensor for the unlocking of the terminal.

The dell’Haier L60 design is therefore a bit ‘more sophisticated than that of his younger brother but the multimedia functionality is not taken care of: there is a more mundane master bedroom 8MP with autofocus. Considering that Haier L56 has a more affordable price, and a rear chamber of much higher quality, it is easy to understand why the Chinese House has decided to focus on the latter model.
