Toshiba has just unveiled its new ultra portable Portégé X30. A team whose weight barely reaches 1kg and which has been endowed with incredible autonomy, when in full use, from 18h. As well as a system of fast charge that allows to enjoy of 4 h more alone with load it 30 min.
According to IDC, currently, 39% of Spanish workers already develops a significant part of their work in conditions of mobility, an index that will grow to 46% in the next year. In order to meet this demand, the new ultra-portable Toshiba Portégé X30 is 13% lighter (1.05 kg) and 11% thinner (15.9 mm) than the same model from the previous generation. In addition, Toshiba has configured its new equipment so that it can offer an autonomy of 18 hours. Backed by a quick charging system that allows to offer four hours more, after only 30 minutes of loading.
The new Portégé X30 is available in two versions of 8 and 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and incorporates Windows 10 Pro, the most powerful processors of the latest Intel Core U and a PCIe SSD hard drive. It also includes the new Hybrid Air Coolig cooling system developed by Toshiba, which maintains the equipment at the optimum temperature to ensure its performance and prevents dust from entering.
This new range of Toshiba ultralights also features a matte anti-glare screen with Full HD resolution of 13 “. Some models have also used In-Cell touch technology, which offers greater sensitivity, backlit keyboard and keys 2 mm wider than similar models, for greater ergonomics. It also integrates high-end Harman Kardon loudspeakers with DTS Sound software and multiple connectivity options including 2 USB Type C ports compatible with a Thunderbolt 3 dock with up to 14 outputs, two of which can play content on two 4K monitors simultaneously .
Robustness and premium security
As with the rest of the new Toshiba X series launched this year, the Portégé X30 is highly resistant to crashes and knocks thanks to its magnesium alloy chassis, called ToughBody, with a damping and reinforcement system in the form of diaper.
In terms of security, Toshiba has made an important effort to protect sensitive information by incorporating the most advanced features for portable devices. This is the case with its own BIOS, TouchPad with SecurePad ™ fingerprint sensor, IR cameras for facial identification through Intel® Authentication and Windows Hello login
