Vertu is a luxury smartphone producer, namely handcrafted terminals with unusual materials, including leather, Italian fine fabrics, precious metals (and not), stones, ceramic and sapphire, but except for the new Signature Touch launched last year, almost all of the English models have a hardware equipment dated and underpowered especially considering the “astronomical” prices at which they are offered on the market. For example, the Vertu Signature Touch starts at 8400 €.
Vertu Aster Chevron
For those unwilling to spend so much money, however, Vertu has launched a range of smartphones “low-cost”, so to speak. The new Vertu Aster Chevron terminals have a starting price of 3900 Euros, but each variant (and we will see 3) was designed to give an aesthetic of visual impact and unique individuality, an Italian fabric from highly resistant elegant colors and patterns inspired by the V logo Vertu and sidebands and headset in grade 5 titanium with satin finish, soundbar polished black PVD and screen of sapphire crystal.
The three models are: Black Chevron, Pink and Blue Chevron Chevron.
Although different in colors and materials, the hardware is the same for all: Qualcomm Snapdragon 801, 4.7 inch display Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels), 2GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, two cameras 13-megapixel (rear) and 2.1 megapixel (front), stereo speakers, from 2275 mAh battery with support for Qi wireless charging, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0 NFC and 4G-LTE. In essence, the new Vertu Aster Chevron are smartphones from 150-200 euro in an expensive and crafts frame.
All Vertu smartphones are equipped with a service of “Concierge” that offers assistance, recommendations and priority bookings 24 hours over 24 in the world. Basically, instead of relying on Siri, Cortana and Google voice assistant, Concierge puts you in communication with a real person who will help you with directions, flight bookings and hotels, restaurants and events Leisure.
