As expected, the launch of new graphics cards Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060, 1070 GTX and 1080 GTX, has convinced some manufacturers to upgrade their notebook (by the way you’ve already taken a look at the new EVGA SC17 1070, HP Omen 17 VR , the Lenovo IdeaPad Y910 and 10 MSI laptops?).
The refresh But not only involves gamestation, but also some mini PC and among these there is the Zotac Zbox Magnus EN10 which replaces the already known Zbox Magnus EN980. Featuring a black aluminum frame with ventilation slots on the sides, Zotac Magnus EN10 is perhaps a bit ‘too small to hold the power of a 1080 and Nvidia GeForce GTX for this, it has been equipped with a GeForce 1070 GTX (Magnus EN1070 ) or GeForce 1060 GTX (Magnus EN1060) that will be able to offer higher performance than the GeForce GTX 980 integrated in the previous version.
The Chinese company has not released the full specifications of the new Mini PC, but it is possible that the Zbox Magnus EN10 share much of the hardware equipment of the first-generation model: Intel Core i5 / i7 processors (Skylake), up to 16GB SoDIMM DDR3 memory and SSD or HDD 2.5-inch for storage, as well as support for up to four external displays, thanks to the presence of an HDMI, a DisplayPort, USB 3.0 and a USB 3.1 Type-C. On board missing two Gigabit Ethernet and a module WiFi 802.11ac, for no-wires connections.
As always, Zotac will release barebones (without memory and storage), complete systems with and without operating system Windows 10. The prices are not yet known, but we are sure they will not be among the cheapest, it is seen that the Mini PC among the most powerful and compact in circulation, already ready for virtual reality.
