FCC engineers offer us new clues on a tablet is not announced yet, but ready for marketing (in fact already available for pre-order in some shop in Europe). It is an Acer Iconia One 10 (B3-A10) certificate in recent days by the US that not only shows us a preview of his technical details, but photos outside and inside the device.
We start with the name: Acer Iconia One 10 is the first 10-inch tablet family low-cost “Iconia One” which over the years has added / replaced “Iconia Tab”. The code name, in fact, is the confirmation: the last Iconia Tab 10, among other things shown live early summer, it has initials A3-A30 as the new Iconia One weblog B3 is 10-A10. In practice, it will add all’Iconia One 7 (B1-760HD) and Iconia One 8 (B1-820), sharing design and specifications of younger siblings.
For all we know Acer Iconia One 10 (B3-A10) will be equipped with an octa-core MediaTek MT8151 processor from 1.7GHz (you can notice in the pictures hardware), supported by 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory expandable with a slot for microSD cards, placed on the top edge. The 10-inch display has a HD resolution (1280 x 800 pixels) and is embellished with a 0.3 megapixel front camera, which is paired with a 5 megapixel sensor on the back. On board we find the classic modules WiFi 802.11n and Bluetooth 4.0, a 5440mAh battery and Android 5.0 Lollipop.
From the pictures taken in the FCC labs, we note that the new tablet Acer will not be equipped with keyboard dock (there are no connectors on the bottom), so it will be sold as a stand-alone tablet. The design is pretty straightforward and once again on the cover of the reason to plot cross that adorns the tablet and increase grip. On the top edge are placed speakers.
Unlike the smaller models, Iconia One 10 is a tablet-end mid-range that will be available in black and white at a price of about 200 Euros (model NT.LB8EE.001). We will know more in less than two weeks at IFA 2015, where Acer should present it and show it live. Do not miss it, because we’ll be there
