Today, Acer has launched another new monitor in the form of its new model BE270U, a model clearly oriented to professionals of graphic design and 3D animation that has a 27-inch screen with 4k resolution but which, given its Refresh rate of 75 Hz, I’m sure it would delight any gamer who could afford to pay the launch price, which is not cheap precisely.
Although 27 inches of screen size seems to me pretty little space for a resolution as high as 2560 x 1440 pixels, it is clear that the images that are represented on this screen if something will have is an exceptional definition, something that for professionals of the Design is always valued quite high when it comes to locating and / or implementing details that the screens with lower resolution are not able to perform. For this, the new monitor uses an IPS type matrix with its usual viewing angles especially wide reaching 178º in both vertical and horizontal. Anyway, I do not think it is necessary that its users have to see it from such extreme angles since ergonomics has been specially taken care of in this monitor since it not only allows inclination adjustment between -5 and 35º, otherwise Which also supports height adjustment up to 150 mm, 90 ° of screen rotation to the left and right, plus 60 ° of rotation on the Z axis so that the posture adjustment is always perfect for the user.
The matrix itself is quite fast in its transitions recording a time of 6 ms in the state changes, although Acer does not specify if it is GtG or how they have made this measurement. Besides, it has a refresh rate of 75 Hz, a contrast of 100,000,000: 1 (which does not specify it but I guess it will be dynamic) and a brightness of 350 cd / m2. As for video inputs, the BE270U uses HDMI and a DisplayPort, while offering certain advanced features like PiP (Picture in Picture).
The price of the new Acer BE270U is $ 499 and is now available for purchase.
