Its name is Acer Nitro 5, so the direct evolution of the current mainstream Acer Nitro notebooks that in their SKU “Black Edition” squeeze the eye to gaming, and has a medium-high technical configuration and an attractive price for all types Of users looking for a valid laptop without having to spend a lot. And among them are casual gamers, who have grown in recent years reaching 43% of the market.

The Acer Nitro 5 has a black chassis, probably polycarbonate and metal with red details for the zipper, touch pad and keyboard backlight. At first glance it seems to remember an Aspire VX 15, but retouched in design and with a more up-to-date technical card: as far as we know, Acer Nitro 5 is a 15.6-inch laptop with IPS Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Intel Core (Kaby Lake) processors, up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM, fast SSD PCIe and graphics cards from Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti or Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 with 2GB or 4GB of dedicated memory. The audio system will be well managed by Dolby Audio Premium technology with Acer TrueHarmony, which will improve bass and make the sound more “clean”.
For such a technical configuration, Acer has provided a cooling system that is efficient and at the same time customizable thanks to Acer CoolBoost technology that allows the user to choose the speed of rotation of fans according to use, for example, at maximum in long sessions Gameplay and more demanding editing operations or slowing down turnarounds for easier activities such as web surfing, mail control and a bit of music.
