The first thing that stands out from the new Acer notebooks is its design. The company has used an aluminum casing with brushed metal finishes. The use of this material has enabled the laptop is really thin, only 18 millimeters thick, and the weight of the device remains in 1.53 kilograms.

Inside this aluminum body we find an Intel Core processor accompanied 6th generation up to 8 GB of RAM and a hard disk SSD up to 512 GB capacity. As for the screen, the Acer TravelMate X349 incorporates a 14-inch IPS panel that reaches a full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. The screen is able to tilt up to 180 degrees, perfect if you want, for example, show something to the meeting attendees. The new Acer notebook also includes an LED backlit keyboard and touchpad precision.

Given that this is a business oriented laptop, I could not miss a good set of speakers and microphone for videoconferencing as well as a webcam with 720p resolution HDR. In terms of connectivity the Acer TravelMate X349 incorporates a USB Type C port that will allow us to connect up to two external displays with 4K resolution by Acer USB adapter Type-C Dock. And speaking of autonomy, the company says its new device is capable of supporting up to 10 hours of use.

Also included Acer Office Manager, an application that allows computer companies quickly deploy security policies and monitor its operation through a simple interface.

The new Acer TravelMate X349 will be available in Spain from September with prices that start from 950 euros.
