Despite its price (relatively) affordable, the Asus Transformer Book T300 Chi benefits from a design and a very neat finish. The dock is “connected” to the tablet with powerful magnets that ensure a seamless continuation in any situation. The Bluetooth connection also allows you to use the remote screen keyboard. The keys are quite spacious and prove enjoyable. Same goes for the touchpad, despite its small size. Note, however, a slight lag after a loss of inactivity to find the link.

This version of the Asus Transformer Chi has a full HD IPS panel. Brightness is good. As for colorimetry compared to competition or to the version with Quad HD slab, it is a little behind with around 70% of the sRGB space covered

Equipped with an Intel Core M processor running at 0.8 GHz (nominal frequency) and 4 GB of memory life, the performance is sufficient for basic use but quickly show their limits when the pace is accelerating. The integrated graphics chip does not play, apart from some old and undemanding titles. Temperatures are well contained and the lack of fan can enjoy the silence.

The average battery life during playback of a video is around 7am (about 1:30 more than the model Quad HD).
