Asus has introduced the update of its most iconic laptop, the ZenBook 3, which is now presented in its Deluxe version with the same aesthetic as always but with numerous improvements in the internal hardware that it mounts. The ZenBook 3 Deluxe, only 12.9 mm thick and weighing 1.1 kg, now has enough power for almost any task.
One of the main novelties of this version Deluxe of the equipment is the inclusion of a new screen of 14 inches and resolution Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) to which they have called “NanoEdge”, since it has edges of only 7,46 Mm. This is complemented by very small dimensions and a weight that makes it an excellent and elegant travel companion, because its casing has been manufactured in a single piece of aluminum treated with a process of anodized in two phases, with the characteristic finish Concentric of the ZenBook family.
The ZenBook 3 Deluxe, improving performance
As promised at the beginning, this Deluxe version of the Asus ZenBook 3 improves especially in performance. It now incorporates a seventh-generation Intel Core processor, up to 16GB of LPDDR3 RAM at 2133Mhz and PCI-Express solid state devices up to 512GB. As for connectivity, it has three of the new reversible 3.1 Type-C USB ports, two of which are Thunderbolts that offer speeds up to 40 Gbps and support up to two 4K resolution screens.
As a good ultrabook, it is a computer designed to provide good performance with great portability, and within the portability feature it is essential to have good autonomy. Asus has therefore installed a lithium polymer battery with a capacity of 46 Wh which, according to the manufacturer, endows the notebook with up to 9 hours of autonomy. In addition, it has fast charging technology and according to Asus load from 0 to 60% in just 49 minutes. A curious fact is that the battery can be charged from any of the three USB 3.1 Type-C ports available to the device.
Price and availability
