Some of us waited for the ASUS Zenfone 4 at MWC 2017 but, having presented the third generation last June, it was almost overwhelming that the Taiwanese company would prepare a new series for the Computex 2017, which is now in the door. We do not yet confirm the launch of the new ASUS smartphones in Taipei, but some clues lead us to think that there will be some great surprises in the ultra-mobile industry at one of the major Asian fairs. The ASUS Zenfone 4 are already ready.
ASUS Zenfone 4 Max
To help customers choose the smartphone that best suits their needs, ASUS has tried to divide the category into three classes just like for notebooks: Empowering Luxury for Everyone, Premier Luxury and Ultimate Luxury. For each of these, from the entry-level to the top-of-range, last year the Taiwanese company launched a Zenfone 3 and introduced a Zenfone 4 in a few days. And in particular:
The ASUS Zenfone 4 Maxi new ASUS Zenfone of the fourth generation will be ASUS Zenfone 4 Max for the mid-low band, ASUS Zenfone 4 for the mid-high band and ASUS Zenfone 4S for the high end. We do not have technical specifications and images of the last two, but we can show you how the new ASUS Zenfone 4 Max will be. You can see it in the photo enlargement next to it, which is useful to confirm some rumors circulated in the past few days On its technical sheet and add unpublished details.
The ASUS Zenfone 4 Max (code ZC554KL) should have a fairly wide screen, at least 5.5 inches, assuming full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels), Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 or 660 processor, 4G-LTE connectivity and of course a super-battery like the rest of the His family (maybe 4000-5000 mAh). It will be built with a simple and soft metal frame with a polycarbonate insert on the back to avoid shielding the antennas. We notice the presence of a dual-chamber on the back with a Flash LED, a Home Physical Button that will likely hide the fingerprint reader, an audio jack at the top and volume balance and power button on the side. ASUS portrays it in a blue color, but we can imagine that other gold and black variants are expected.
We just have to wait for the Computex 2017 to find out more about the new ASUS Zenfone 4 and put our hands on the ultra-slim ASUS Zenbook Flip UX370 and ASUS Vivobook Flip TP401 convertibles.
