Huawei has announced another interesting Android smartphones in China. The new Maimang 5 is a mid-range model features a unibody design and equipped with a number of quality components. The device, available in two different configurations, will be released on July 21. The manufacturer has not yet specified whether it is expected to be distributed in Europe.
The new Huawei Maimang 5 has an aluminum frame and a 2.5D glass that covers the entire width of the smartphone. The 5.5-inch screen has a full HD resolution (1920 × 1080 pixels) with a screen-to-body ratio of 77.9%. The hardware includes an octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor at 2 GHz, supported by flash memory 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB, expandable with microSD cards up to 128 GB. Users can also buy a version with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage.
To the rear camera is a 16 megapixel Sony IMX298 sensor was chosen with six lenses, f / 2.0 aperture, optical three-axis stabilization, autofocus and LED flash dual tone detection. The front camera has a resolution of 8 megapixels instead with f / 2.0 aperture. Connectivity is provided by WiFi 802.11b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.1 modules, GPS and LTE with dual SIM support.
