Leisure L55S and Voyage V6

At IFA 2016 in Berlin, we visited the Haier booth. The Chinese multinational, after consolidating its leadership in the domestic appliance sector for the seventh consecutive year, pushed the accelerator to the ultra-mobile market by introducing new terminals premiere.

The news brought the German trade fair are two: Leisure L55S and Voyage V6, we have had the opportunity to study closely and try with the help of Stefano Palumbo, Product Marketing TV & Consumer Electronics Haier in Europe, which in the video interview below it illustrates the technical characteristics and the potential of the two smartphones.


Haier Leisure L55S is an affordable and functional terminal, successor to the Leisure L56, that will convince your customers for good quality construction, high performance and a few design choices. We could call it a mid-priced range, because it integrates MediaTek MT6745P a 64-bit quad-core 1GHz processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM expandable with a microSD card slot, under a 5-inch HD IPS display (1280 x 720 pixels) combined with a 5-megapixel front camera and a rear 13-megapixel with auto-focus and LED flash. Runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and integrates a 2050 mAh battery.

The aluminum body, available in gray, silver, gold and pink, sets policy and overall dimensions: thickness 7:55 mm and weight of 135 grams. There’s also a fingerprint reader on the back, LTE / 4G connectivity Cat.4 and the ability to use two SIM. Haier Leisure L55S will be available from September to 149 Euros.

The other smartphone is called Voyage V6 and is a higher-end model, as he tells us its data sheet, already announced in February at MWC 2016 with his younger brother V4. Inside an aluminum frame (often only 7.6 mm) silver, gold or pink, the terminal includes an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 2GHz processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM, which is sufficient for applications, video and images. V6 has a 5.5-inch screen in-cell ultra-resistant 2.5D tempered glass, with full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels), the front equipped with a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash paired with a sensor PDAF 13 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash on the back. The images are captured at very high speed and shooting will be done in 0.233 seconds, using opening to f / 2.0 lens.
The fingerprint reader allows quick release of the device and ensures great security and confidentiality, while the Marshmallow Android 6.0 operating system ensures compatibility with the latest applications available. On board WiFi, Bluetooth and 4G / LTE Cat.6 (300Mbps download) dual-SIM, 3000 mAh battery and infrared sensor for the remote control of appliances. Haier Voyage V6 is already on sale (but not yet on the Italian market) to 299 euro.
