Lenovo has introduced five new multimedia notebooks divided into two different ranges. They are models of 11.6 inches and 14 inches from the Ideapad 300S range and equipment 13.3 inch, 14 inch and 15.6-inch Ideapad 500S range. These models feature panels reach Full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, integrated the latest processors of the sixth generation of chips Intel Core reinforced and can come with a graphics card NVIDIA GeForce 940m to improve its performance when running games or applications with heavy graphics. All this with the brand new operating system Windows 10. So far we have no details on price or release date in Spain, but we tell you the main technical details.
We started with the range of Lenovo Ideapad 300S. In this case we have devices that may have a screen size of 11.6 inches or 14 inches. Here we must make the first difference, as the 11.6-inch model will be directed to a more typical office use or browsing. That includes an Intel Pentium processor easier with up to 8 GB of RAM, an HD display of 1,366 x 768 pixels or Intel integrated graphics. Meanwhile, the 14-inch model makes the leap to the Full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, it offers the option to integrate an Intel Core processor of the sixth generation of chips (at the moment have not made their official appearance) and leads your RAM up to 8 GB. In addition, more demanding users can count on the backing of a graphics card NVIDIA GeForce 940m for higher performance in games.
In the field of design, the 11.6-inch model will have a measured weight of 1.3 kilos, while the 14-inch model still maintains a competitive figure of 1.8 kilos. Both allow us to choose between various settings for the internal memory. Specifically, the 11.6-inch device will eMMC memory option up to 64 GB, a hybrid 500GB memory that uses a small amount of flash memory to speed up the processes or traditional hard drive up to 1TB . On the other hand, the 14-inch Ideapad 300S SSD provides up to 256 GB, a hybrid configuration of up to 1TB HDD or up to 1 TB too. As for autonomy, it will be up to 5 hours.

Moreover, the Lenovo Ideapad 500S will be available in three different screen formats: 13.3 inches, 14 inches and 15.6 inches. In the first two options an HD or Full HD panel shall comprise, while the 15.6-inch option comes directly with full HD 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. In her womb also we find Intel Core processors sixth generation with RAM up to 8 GB and the option to integrate a graphics card NVIDIA GeForce 940m. In terms of internal memory, 13.3-inch model will allow us to opt for a SSD of up to 128GB, a hybrid configuration of 500 GB hard drive or up to 1 TB. The IdeaPad 500S 14-inch and 15.6-inch maximum will rise to 256 GB SSD format, hybrid memory of up to 1 TB traditional hard drive or 1TB.
Among the connections it should be noted that all presented models will feature the AC WiFi protocol to connect simultaneously to the bandwidth of 2.4 GHz bandwidth and 5 GHz (with faster and stable connection) and integrate USB 3.0 and HDMI ports. The Lenovo IdeaPad weights will 500S 1.5 kilos for the 13.3-inch model and 2.1 kilos for configurations of 14 and 15.6 inches. In all cases, autonomy stays in 4.5 hours.
