The SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 600E and 410E for embedded applications are now available in many vertical industries, not just for companies, such as digital signage, set-top boxes, medical imaging systems point of sales (POS), industrial robotics, and other solutions linked to the Internet of Things (IoT). The pocessori are globally available from third-party distributors, initially through Arrow Electronics for a minimum of 10 years from the first commercial sampling of the Snapdragon family processors 600 and 400, and that’s great news. E ‘is the first time that a stand-alone processors Snapdragon family are available from distributors, making it accessible in large quantities to manufacturers of any size for IoT products and embedded computing.

But we find out something more about them. Snapdragon 600E is a quad-core processor (Krait 300) 1.5GHz with Adreno 320 graphics, Hexagon DSP. Supports WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0 (LE) or Bluetooth 3.x, and GPS but also offers a number of interfaces to extend connectivity or memory device on which it will be integrated with one DDR slot, SATA, eMMC, HDMI , LVDS, HSIC, SD3.0 and PCIe. The SoC quad-core Snapdragon 410E has a frequency of 1.2GHz, and delivers high performance, low power consumption and good support for multimedia content thanks to the GPU Adreno 306 and Hexagon DSP. Onboard Bluetooth 4.1 (LE), 802.11n WiFi and GPS.

“The introduction of Snapdragon 600E and 410E offers multiple product options,” said David West, senior vice president of Arrow Electronics. “Arrow is excited to provide Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and integrate them with the components and engineering services we offer to help customers during the marketing.”
